Solicitation & Promotion Policy
The National HBCU Pre-Law Summit & Law Expo is designed to give attendees a focused, high-quality experience free from unwanted sales pitches and disruptive promotional activity. To protect that experience, the following applies to all registrants.
Prohibited activity
Unless you are an approved sponsor or exhibitor under a signed agreement with the National HBCU Pre-Law Summit & Law Expo, you may not:
- Sell, advertise, or promote products or services
- Distribute flyers, samples, business cards, or marketing materials
- Solicit attendees for network marketing, MLM, or similar recruitment
- Set up unofficial tables, displays, or booths
- Collect attendee contact information for commercial or recruiting purposes
- Wear branded apparel or use signage intended to solicit business
Enforcement
Event staff monitor for this activity throughout the event. If you are found engaging in unauthorized solicitation, you will receive a verbal warning to stop. Continued activity may result in:
- A formal warning
- Badge revocation
- Removal from the venue without refund
- Restriction from future National HBCU Pre-Law Summit & Law Expo events
Reporting
If you experience unwanted solicitation, please report it to event staff at Registration, contact us through the Registrant Hub, or email info@hbcuprelawsummit.org, and we will address it promptly.
Becoming a sponsor
We welcome businesses interested in promoting their products or services through official channels. Learn more about sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities on the Summit website.
This policy supplements Section 6 of the Terms, Conditions & Disclaimers.
