NCCU Student Center

The Summit takes place in the NCCU Student Center (Building #6 on the official campus map). For Uber, Lyft, taxi, or GPS, enter NCCU Student Center, 500 Nelson Street, Durham, NC 27707. If your rideshare app does not recognize the Student Center, use Nelson Street and Fayetteville Street, Durham, NC 27707. Please do not use only the general NCCU campus address, as it may take you to a different area of campus.

Optional Thursday campus visits
Sign-up details come by email a few weeks before Summit. Tours are optional and limited capacity.
- Visitor parking is paid and permit-enforced on weekdays. The closest options to the law school are the Rams Head Parking Deck and the Bell Tower Parking Deck, both a short walk from Ridge Road.
- Pay by space or at the deck gate; rates and hours are posted at each entrance. Do not park in spaces marked for permit holders — UNC enforces during the academic year.
- Campbell Law sits in downtown Raleigh with no free visitor lot. Use a nearby public deck — options include the Wake County Parking Deck, Charter Square, and other downtown decks within a few blocks.
- Metered street parking on and around Hillsborough Street is enforced on weekdays; read each sign for time limits before you leave your car.
- Visitors park in the Bryan Center Parking Garage on Science Drive — the closest paid garage to the law school and a short walk to the building.
- Hourly rates apply and lots are permit-enforced on weekdays. Follow posted signs; do not use spaces reserved for Duke permit holders.
Optional Friday law school tour
Friday's optional tour is a chance to explore the host law school right here in Durham. Sign-up details come by email, and capacity may be limited.
- The Albert L. Turner Law Building is at 640 Nelson Street, a short walk from the Student Center and Latham Parking Deck.
- NCCU requires a valid permit, active ParkMobile session, or approved event parking authorization. Visitors can buy a daily permit through the NCCU Parking Portal; confirm rates and hours before you arrive.
Parking
Guests should plan to park in the Latham Parking Deck. Allow extra time to enter the deck, find a space, and walk to your destination — especially during large campus events.

Enter from East Lawson Street or Lincoln Street; it's a short walk to the Student Center, the Albert L. Turner School of Law, the bookstore, and McDougald-McLendon Arena.
- Permit, ParkMobile, or event authorization requiredEvery vehicle on NCCU property needs a valid NCCU permit, an active ParkMobile session, or approved event-parking authorization. Without event-specific instructions, buy a daily visitor permit through the NCCU Parking Portal and enter your plate accurately.
- Accessible parkingDesignated accessible spaces are available in the Latham Parking Deck with a valid state-issued placard or license plate, first-come, first-served.
Food in the Student Center
You can eat without leaving the building. Vendor lineups and hours vary by day, so check posted hours when you arrive.
